A cold shower might sound unappealing, but it has numerous shocking health benefits. Any shower with water temperature below 70 degrees is a cold shower.
If done the right way, cold showers give us uncountable visible health benefits including long lasting change to one’s digestive, lymphatic, blood circulation and immune system. It also enhances our skin and hair quality. So, in short, cold showers can affect the very way of your well-being and life.
All the yoga practitioners and some of the impactful personalities around the world like Tony Robbins and Wim Hof have a morning ritual of cold showers daily. This is not just to look fancy. Bathing in cold water literally enhances your mental alertness and receptivity. Starting a day with this kind of shower at your home or anywhere can be a plus point to your journey of health and well- being.
If you are not accustomed to cold showers or have never done it before, then start with the regular shower and finish the last 30 seconds cold.

People with uncontrollable Blood pressure or any other heart related conditions should take cold water showers in the supervision of an experienced one.
A minimum exposure of 30 seconds in the cold shower is enough to receive all of the above benefits. Cold water showers can be taken at any time of the day. But it is best to take early mornings because it is the best phase for our receptivity.
Try it for yourself! Don’t do it just for a day or week. Try it for some days to see visible changes in your well-being.
The ideal way to take a cold shower is to ease into the habit.
Start by slowly lowering the temperature at the end of a usual shower. Get the water cold enough that you start to feel uncomfortable. Then, stay underneath the water for 2 or 3 minutes. Breathing deeply will help decrease your discomfort in your mind. You can take as many showers as you like in a day.
